Agréable séjour passé en juin dernier à "La Paisible".
Gîte spacieux, coquet et très bien équipé.
Accueil chaleureux.
Le tout dans un cadre agréable et au calme; idéal pour se resourcer.

| We saw this cottage on the web and fell in love with it. The location was ideal for the visits we planned. It had everything we needed although the weather was not on ourside. Chartres is only 10 minutes away. A trip at night to see the light show is essential. Its a fantastic display. We also went to Varsailles and Monnet's garden at Giverny, both are just over a hour away. We also thought about Fontenbleau but never made it. I would go back when I want to see more in the area.

| Gezellig huisje, van alle gemakken voorzien. Binnen een uur in Parijs met de auto en vlakbij Chartres. Genoeg te beleven dus om een week (of langer) te verblijven. De verhuurder is vriendelijk en behulpzaam en spreekt engels. Zeer tevreden!

Séjour de courte durée, donc avis instantané.
Très bon accueil et de grande qualité.
Nuit dans le calme et la sérénité grace à l'exposition de la chambre et aux couleurs choisies.
Seul point négatif, mais qui n'est pas du ressort du propriétaire mais du principe même des chambres d'hôtes, le comportement des autres résidents lors du petit déjeuné. Dommage car table était divinement garnie.

The setting is charming, the 'cottage' delightful, for the winter the heating works excellently and in the summer the garden must be a gift.
For those seeking a base to combine peace and quiet with accessability to Chartres and an easy train ride into Paris, it does not get any better than this.
The hosts are both charming and helpful.

| Loved the space in the property together with the peace and quiet. Excellant shopping near by together with the wonders of Chartres. Our weather in June was not good, but it did not spoil our enjoyment.

Soggiorno piacevole in un'accogliente casa in stile normanno fornita di tutti i comfort.
La famiglia ospitante è gentile, molto disponibile e simpatica.
Ci piacerebbe tornare in Primavera e Estate per ammirare la Paisible circondata da un giardino pieno di fiori colorati.

Das Häuschen ist ein kleines Idyll inmitten von Feldern und als Übernachtung komfortabel, um Chartres und die Dörfer an der Eure mit dem Fahrrad zu erkunden. Die Dörfer weckten Kindheitserinnerungen an das Dorf meiner Großeltern (vor 40 Jahren),
in Jouy gibt es einen interessanten Antiquitätenhandel in einer ehemaligen Wassermühle, es gibt Bäcker, Fleischer, Tante-Emma-Läden.. viel Ruhe und Beschaulichkeit. Auch die Steine der Kathedrale kommen aus Becheres St. Germain und ähnliche sind im Garten zu finden, aber Steinbrüche haben wir keine mehr gesehen...

Wir waren als Paar für eine Woche in dem Haus und waren von den
freundlichen Vermietern und dem Haus sehr angetan.
Falls wir im nächsten Jahr unseren Hund mitbringen dürfen werden wir
mit Sicherheit wiederkommen.

| Un gîte qui porte bien son nom;village tranquille,propriètaires très discrets,gîte très spacieux ,confortable ,fonctionnel;bien situé dans le département pour visiter les châteaux d'Anet,de Maintenon ,la cathédrale de Chartres....pour nous c'était une semaine super!

Una muy agradable casa de campo muy cerca de Chartres. El lugar es muy bonito y tranquilo. Ideal para hacer un alto durante un viaje por ciudades europeas. Y la casa es muy agradable, con mucho espacio y con personalidad. El unico inconveniente es que hay que tener un coche porque no hay transportes en comun que le permitan a uno moverse a pie.
